Yann is an American film and stage actor.
Yann grew up between New York, Paris, Milan, and Casablanca. Yann started studying the theater at an early age while living in Paris and performed numerous lead roles in school plays when he was only 13 - Among them were Molière's best-known works like Le Malade Imaginaire (The Imaginary Invalid) and Les Fourberies de Scapin (Scapin's Deceits). Yann moved back to New York City later on and immediately began his professional acting career by performing in school plays (In The Blood at the American Theater of Actors was one of his first off-Broadway roles), and auditioned for TV/Films, music videos and commercials. He joined Acting classes at Hunter College and later on joined the Penny Templeton Studio in New York City where he learned advanced acting techniques and acting on camera. Yann made his debut as the lead male character in a New York Film Academy short Film noir titled The Final Inspiration where he played a deranged piano player whose lack of inspiration pushes him to become a compulsive murderer. The film has allowed him to gain exposure and casting directors’ attention to pursue his professional acting career in films. Yann is currently working on three major projects to be released in 2020. |
